WooCommerce My Account Login – UserPro Forums https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/woocommerce-my-account-login/feed/ Sun, 19 May 2024 10:34:14 +0000 https://bbpress.org/?v=2.6.2 en-US https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/woocommerce-my-account-login/#post-45660 <![CDATA[WooCommerce My Account Login]]> https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/woocommerce-my-account-login/#post-45660 Wed, 21 Jan 2015 18:18:04 +0000 Jason Rhodes Just curious to know how User Pro should work with the WooCommerce My Account login page (https://www.northcoteindoorsports.com.au/my-account/).

This login page redirects to the user’s WooCommerce account details including addresses and previous orders etc.

However, the other login screen that utilises the User Pro login screen (i.e. https://www.northcoteindoorsports.com.au/login/) redirects to whichever page is set in the User Pro options. I’ve got this set to redirect to http://www.northcoteindoorsports.com.au/profile/, which shows them their profile as displayed by User Pro.

So therefore I end up with two different looking login forms on the website if I’m using WooCommerce.

Is there any way to have the User Pro login form set to go to the User’s WooCommerce account details if the form is on a WooCommerce page, or go to the normal User Pro profile page if it’s anywhere else, therefore allowing me to use the same consistent login form site wide.

Very interested to know what is possible.

Thanks.

Perhaps the best way is to have login page used being the UserPro one, and then once the user logs in, use the redirection upon login option and direct them to the WooCommerce my-account page.

This would take the WooCommerce login out of the loop, and the only time a user would see a WooCommerce login would be if they are in the shopping cart and they are asked to login to an existing account.

Would this be a good option until UserPro comes up with a solution?

Is there a way to do that?

Perhaps this would be the ideal way to go:

Nav Menu Roles

So a link in any menu to /my-account would not be visible until the user has logged in. If they are logged in, then visiting that page will show them their WooCommerce account screen. If they are not logged in, then the menu item won’t show and they’ll just see one of the other links that takes them to a UserPro login form. Once they login, the redirection then takes them to their WooCommerce /my-account page.

Keen on your thoughts.
