Hi @Support….I was reading a post on codecanyon support, and was wondering where is this feature in UP located. Where do I find this at? Thanks, Blessings.
(Read This) It was Asking about Music Files Uploads

Hi! Yes you can allow file uploads and set which extensions are allowed for each upload. So users can upload files to their profiles (or admins) thanks!Hi,
This is what I do to allow users to upload files to their profile:1. Select the “Customize Fields” tab in UserPro.
2. Click “Add New Field”, in “Field Type” select “File Upload”.You may find the “Allow file extensions” field right below the “File Type” field. Hope this helps 🙂
Thank You So Much @echo9120…I was creating a Textarea instead or just a plain file upload….Going to Implement this now….Wonderful. Is there a limit that you have found as to how many things that will post into their profile page? Thanks.
@echo9120, I still can’t Embed a video(s)…this didn’t work for videos. Testing mp3’s now. I don’t want videos uploaded, just the embed otopin from youtube/vimeo etc. Thanks.
@echo, the Mp3 or video options didn’t work. For some reason on my website. I have tested this here and it works, just not on my site. I embed video code…save, refresh…then nothing appears on profile page view. I did the same with a Soundcloud embed…and Nothing. Mp3…tried to upload one, and it didn’t post…nothing showed up after I attempted to upload. Can’t figure this out. It works here with No Problem.
@TheProductGenius You’re welcome 🙂
I just figured out how to embed Youtube videos. I haven’t try yet, but I think that will also work for MP3.
I write the steps (in full) here, in case it might help someone else too.
1. At the “Add New Field”, select “Textarea”.
2. At the “Edit Profile Fields”, click the “Allow HTML in a field” icon to activate it.
3. When edit profile, just enter the embed code.
Regards.
@echo9120 THANKS A BUNCH!!!!…lol…Man oh man, I’ve been trying to figure this out for weeks…lol Thank You Friend. The only thing i wasen’t doing right was Clicking the html Activate button…Wow. I feel foolish. I am Very Grateful Sis for your help. You learn somethingnew everyday. Great tip! Going to re-add and test this. Blessings.
@echo9120 everything works as expected!! Love You For This! Thanks Again…Blessings. I added you to my follow list. I feel like so much stress has been relieved off of me as it relates to my website. Thanks.:)
This @Support, Can Be Marked As [RESOLVED]
@TheProductGenius You’re most welcome! I like to come to this forum where we can learn from each others everyday. I’ve learn much by reading your convo with @Support and others too. Have a blessed day! 🙂
I just tried to post and got a error, so I lost the new post. However, this is not done yet….I acted too quick. When you embed one video or music player to your profile…You Cannot Embed Onother…..because it Overwrites the previous embed. there may be a work-around to fix this temporarily until The Galleries Feature is added.
Example:
Add Video (1)
Add Video (2)
Add Video (3)Add Music (1)
Add Music (2)
Add Music (3)
Be sure to Limit Amount of Embeds For Members. Create Tool-Time Tips Instructing Members To Only Add EMBED CODED from Youtube/Vimeo/Soundclound Etc)I’m going to see if this works.
This Didn’t Work! I guess because they use the same Shortcode. I don’t know. Hmmm, there has to be a way around this to add Multiple videos Songs to profile page. I’ll keep digging. I have a Gallery plugin that i purchased, that allows multiple galleries and databases in WP to be created. Don’t know if the 2 can be used togeter but, I’m going to see if there some way to link the two together…Blessings.
