Once the plugin is installed and activated, the entire website goes blank. Once the folder is removed from my website’s files, the website begins to work perfectly again. Is there a reason for this issue and what can be done to resolve it?

Try deactivating all the plugins and systematically adding one at a time until you find the conflicting one. In my case it was one I could easily do with out. Hope that helps.

The website was still experiencing issues with only UserPro activated and returned to normal once UserPro was deactivated.

@jaime, you can also try alternative solution. Disable activity log in compatibility settings (Check YES) Yes to disable.
