Your tutorials are great. Is it possible that you post some of these into the “Tutorials / Integrations / How-to” section?
It would be useful for others who are looking for solutions, or those who are helping on the forums to point to these tutorials in that section rather than trying to find them in support questions.
Thanks for doing these.. 🙂
Keyhanjun, I tried to leave a post but my Computer Connection crashed, so I’m writing it over. I tried this Short Code two different ways, and still had no success when trying to add the members artistry to the Members Directory Profile Card….citystate WORK FINE!!! Just not what is your artistry
Here’s what I tried:
[userpro template=emd emd_fields=’profile_display_name,whatisyourartistry,gender,citystate,country’][userpro template=emd emd_fields=’profile_display_name,what_is_your_artistry,gender,citystate,country’]
How to: Add Custom Search Filters to Enhanced Member Directory
1. Create your custom field called “Artistry”:
2. After this drag&drop this field to your “Groups & Fields” section e.g. “Edit Profile Fields”
3. open the file /userpro/addons/emd/functions/shortcode-main.php
4. right under line 17 add this code:
$args[’emd_artistry’] = ‘Search by Artistry,dropdown’;
So that it looks like this:
Tip: Just copy line 17 & put it right under it (line 18) & then customise it.
5. on your “Enhanced Member Directory” page use this shortcode:
[userpro template=emd emd_fields=’gender,country,artistry’]
6. Have fun! 😉

If there is a chance to not rely on the emd shortcode this way here is far more easier:
Simply use:
[userpro template=memberlist search_artistry=’Artistry,dropdown’]
An no customisation is needed! 😉
