Hello!
I am new to userPro, just purchased, but really like how everything is done.
The only problem that I got now that it conflicts with WishList member, which is really a core for my website and membership mechanism. When I turn the WishList member off, everything works fine, but when I turn it on- I always get a Syntax error. As I see on forum there are similar cases but with other plugins.
What would you suggest to do?Can you let me download that plugin to fix the conflict between both plugins?
I can definitely NOT recommend Wishlist Member.
This plugin is encrypted, so normal user is completely depended on plugin author to apply fixes. That shouldn’t be a problem, when plugin author do apply fixes or help fixing compatibility issues.
Wishlist Member doesn’t.Well, I never heard of it anyway. I just try to help if I can 🙂
And what would you suggest? I am looking for a membership plugin that allows giving access to any page and post, and all custom posts too.
I’ll wait and see what keyhanjun suggests, anyway – If the plugin is not encrypted, I am afraid I can’t find the conflicting action? ANyway, it must be a conflict from action hook either run at login or register which is a similar issue with memberpress, these plugins do not take in account custom plugins or other plugins using the same hooks, hence why the many syntax error conflicts.
I can recommend the Groups plugin which I posted about here:

😉
I really thinks that groups are not great desicion as I need simple managment of access rights to great amount of learning courses and WishList Member provides that.
Support Ahmed, when you got a chance to look at Wishlist Member, could you tell me if you could solve the problem or not, and I may contact developers for the help. Maybe they will help)
Just checked WP Courseware & their change log states the following:
v2.8
– Added support for the “Groups” plugin addon
Source: http://flyplugins.com/codex/WP_Courseware
But to 100% verify it please ask their support.
@Ahmed
You are welcome! 😉
I wrote to the support of WP Courseware & this is what they answered:
Yes we do have the Groups addon, however we are working through a bug at the moment. I have sent off the bug to the developer who donated the addon. Once we get the bug worked out, I will notify you. I will also provide you with a quick video tutorial on the addon.
