Do you use nice URL permalinks?

I tracked the problem to actually be me creating the users in WordPress Users – add user and not using Userpro to create the actual user account.
To rectify the problem I have done two things. Each user I had manually created in the back end – I simply edited their profile using the Userpro front end editor and saved the result – this then enabled them to be searched by Userpro. The second step was to only use Userpro to create users.
I hope this helps.
