Hi support team,
I can’t get the profile pictures to work.
I’ve followed the instructed of cmod 777 the requested files but it still does not work.Could you please help me? I’m locally hosting my website at the moment.
Hello,
Which version are you using please ? Is it version 2.12 or above that ?
If you are using 2.12 or above – Have you tried these steps –
If you have installed 2.12 or 2.12.1 and have trouble with member profiles images – Go to Settings -> Compatibility Settings -> Change URL Encoding and toggle the setting’s value.
Save the settings and check again – images should show up fine now.Hi,
Thank you for your fast response.
I haven’t tried that yet.Which settings are you referring to?
Wordpress or UserPro settings?
My language is in Dutch so I can’t find ” Compatibility settings”.Could you show me a screenshot on how to access these settings?
Thank you in advance!
I am referring to UserPro setting. Here is the screen-shot – http://awesomescreenshot.com/0543wfj117
Please try this. Hope it should solve the problem. ThanksI’ve tried both options: disable and enable and for both it does not work.
Is there another fix?Hi 1nvazN,
What you have set in “Profile Pictures Fix” (Compatibility Settings first option) ? Is it Method A or B?
Can you please try to change it and check again. If still the issue persists – Request you to please raise the issue using the contact form on my profile page along with the site details, this would help me to track the issue to closure. I am also having this problem, I am running version 2.13 I have chmod directory 777 I have tried the compatibilty methods and settings in the admin panel…
debbuger shows the correct URL (http://www.blacknet.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/userpro/1/5475b6035a2a9.png” ) to the image but on the profile its blank, if I change the compatibilty settings the url is wrong and it shows a broken image instead.
Current Settings with correct image URL but no image
Profile Pictures Fix: Method A
Path Compatibility: Use full
URL Encoding: Active
External Profile Pictures save to serverPlease help
It’s Ok I manage to fix by disabling plugins then setting the compatibility settings and then turning plugins back on.
However I purchased the private messaging and it’s not working at all, I disabled all my plugins and not even the private message shortcode is working can anyone help me thanks
