I recently upgraded to a shiny new dedicated box with gobs of resources and to my utter dismay, something on the new server broke UserPro. Whenever I enable the plugin (on a brand-new WordPress installation) I get the following debug errors:

I’m not that knowledgeable with PHP or coding in general other than some rudimentary HTML/CSS. I was hoping that somebody could look at the debug errors, along with my phpinfo() and see if they could see anything blatantly obvious that might be causing this problem. Below is a link to my server’s phpinfo().

I’ve only had the server for a few days and am still in the process of hardening it for a production environment. I just saw that I was running WP 3.8.3 and have just updated to WP 3.9 with no change in the errors. Thank you in advance!

This looks like issue on your hosting end. See the errro

it can’t create tempfiles for session. It’s something that your host has to fix (permission denied)

I do know that the problem is something specific to the new server; UserPro worked fine on my old server. As I mentioned in my original post, I have been hardening the new server for production and might have gotten a little overzealous and turned on/off something that I shouldn’t have while following the suggestions of CSF. As far as checking with my host; that’s me – it’s a dedicated server. I was just wondering if you could look at my info.php and see if anything obvious caught your eye as being the culprit. I still have my old VPS so I’ll run an info.php on it when I wake up and do a side by side comparison. Thanks.

It looks like permission is denied to write to tmp files/folder (Session files) – that should be it.
