Stuck in Redirect Loop!!

When I visit my homepage on my website, it shows this URL:
http://www.newsitings.com/profile/register/?redirect_to=http://www.newsitings.com/

I only want the site locked, not sure why it’s showing that. Also, once I create an account, and log in then it says the page is not redirecting properly. What is causing this??
