Is there a social login shortcode where I can just display the social login part? I think this would be cool to put into the checkout. Can it be done php?

You can try [userpro_fb] for facebook social connect standalone. 🙂

In the meantime, a CSS tweak can do the job. (by hiding away everything from the login form, except the social login buttons 🙂 )

In my case I used:

where #post-9991 is for the login page.

I looks 100% just like a simple social connect of fb+google. I even have the nice tooltips 🙂
