I’ve been emailing Ahmed, but he stopped replying. Any help is appreciated very much!

My issue, I’m setting up search and I have a few custom fields.

Your documentation here: http://userproplugin.com/userpro/docs/#shortcode_memberlist states that I can use the shortcode = memberlist_filters to add filters for the main search box to look in when a user enters a search and submits.

The documentation specifically states that it’s “A comma separated list of custom fields to support in member directory search”

My code is: memberlist_filters=”last_name,city” which matches my custom field IDs for Last Name & City – however it does not work for searching either field.

Alternately – if I use the code: memberlist_filters=”last_name” (Note I’m only using one term) it works just fine.

The issue is that when using memberlist_filters with multiple fields none of the custom fields are looked in, returning no results

Any help is appreciated on how to search my custom fields please. THANK YOU

I understand it works if you use search_customfield=XXX,dropdown etc?

Trying to get it to show in the main input search box.

If I do the terms like you posted search_customfield=XXX,dropdown (ie: search_city=City,text) it works fine. Same with individually listing the filters (ie: memberlist_filters=”last_name”).

What doesn’t work is listing more than one filter (ie: memberlist_filters=”last_name,city,first_name”).

I’m using the latest version.

THanks!

Or a plugin version where the bug doesn’t exist?

We’re relying on your plugin to be able to search for our users information – it’s a very critical piece that we’ve put faith on your software being able to do, as it is listed in the docs & your codecanyon page.

Not trying to be mean, just need it or an alternative to work.

Please advise, thank you.
