I’ve bought this plugin and have been testing it with the Twenty Fourteen theme – the intention is to deploy with a chosen theme once we know we can get it working in a more vanilla setup.

A few questions:

It seems as though the light-compact and dark skins both leave the overlay on top of a grid item even after you take the cursor away. Can this be changed so that the grid item resumes its original appearance when you mouse off it? Otherwise the effect is to dim grid items just because the cursor has moved over them however briefly.

The plugin lightbox is great on desktops but is a little awkward to read blog posts on mobile because so much of the real estate is taken up with the title and only half the width of one section is available for scrolling through text. I tried changing the width of the content area, but as soon as I go past 50% the scrolling gets messed up – it goes far too fast and loops continuously through the content instead of stopping at the top or bottom. How can we set the lightbox to come down further on the screen, give more space to the content area and also ensure that the title is a live link to the post permalink so that readers can easily click through to blog posts from the lightbox if they want to read more?

For YouTube videos, how can we change the code so that the titles are not displayed, as seems to be the way you’ve set it up for Vimeo? And how can we make it so that the thumbnail of the video acts as the featured image and we don’t have to add another featured image or use placeholders?

And finally, what are the shadow layers and transparent layers and what difference does it make to show or hide them? I can’t figure it out from the documentation that I’ve seen.

I know I’ve asked a lot of questions, but these are turning out to be deal-breakers in terms of our ability to successfully deploy this plugin for what my group is trying to do with our website.

Thank you!

Sorry for the delay.
1. overlay issue is fixed in version 1.5. Please update to latest version and let me know if this solves the issue.
2. I need to check this on your site. Please share your website URL via this link http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact so that I can check the issue.
3. About YouTube videos – Please include * show_title=0 * field in the shortcode that you have tried for. This will hide the title of the video. For e.g please have a look at the demo here – http://userproplugin.com/gridfx/videos/ (Example 1: Vimeo Integration / Gallery) this is what you want to achieve ?

It could be due to other plugins/theme conflict. Can you please check once by disabling all other plugins on your site and also by switching the theme to any default WordPress theme. This will help to trace down the issue.
