Hey guys!,
I am having trouble redirecting my users after they logout back to my landing page.
I go to the “UserPro Global Options”, then “Logout Page Settings”,
Do I need to enter the exact page name or can I just enter a hyperlink for their destination?
I tried entering in a hyperlink to my landing page, but was unsuccessful.
I appreciate the help.
Thanks!
Mine logout redirect is also not working. I re-checked my settings in the UserPro global settings, and tried 2 different user accounts on my site. I’ve entered the url for my contact page upon logout, but am ending up at the member’s profile page instead.
My redirect button also doesn’t work as it is set up in the options.
I’ve found also another issue. I’ve placed the login in the sidebar (my theme allows me to place Pages in the sidebar). And when I click on the Logout button in that widget it redirects me to one of my posts (a post from almost a year ago). And depending on which sidebar I place the widget in, the post it redirects to changes.
Any idea how to fix this?regards
The logout settings in backend is for the logout page, I’ve said that 10 times already or more in the past 🙂 if you want to redirect to custom URL with profile template, use this:
[userpro template=view (or another template) logout_redirect=”http://…”%5D
That will work.
Logout page settings is for /logout/ (UserPro auto created page for logout, see the above menu) not for the shortcode settings. Thanks
