I tried to configure Custom Redirects, but I cannot make them work.
For example, in Advanced Redirects I configure some new redirection rules for Login Redirects: nothing of these rules work.
When user performs login, he will see the standard profile page and not the one choose previously in Custom Redirects pages.
Can you explain how to use this feature please?
I cannot understand if it is working but it needs some extra settings, or if this feature is bugged.
Please let me know, thanks.
I second what newpolaris is saying. Custom redirects do not work for us either. We’re on an amazon ec2 bitnami server.
I use 3 roles as user types on the site, which all works great by creating the custom registration forms, however when the visitor registers with one of the social buttons, it disregards the role set for the form.
So to work around this, I’ve set subscriber as the default role for new registrations, created a page “account type” where I could ask only these users to chose their role. However I can not custom redirect on registration based on role…
Hello @newpolaris ,
Could please help me with the steps of how did worked with custom redirection .
Thank you!i have the same porblem with redirect plugin is a knew bug from previous version please fix it thanks
@newpolaris, @Vex –
Can you please confirm if you have followed below steps for custom redirect –
1. Please go to UserPro -> Custom redirects
There you will see the login redirects and registration redirects tabs.2. In the “Add New Redirection Rule” – there are three option
– You can redirect based on the roles.
– For a specific user
– Based on the custom fieldSuppose If you want login redirect based on the user roles – then please select the role and enter the redirection url.
Similarly you can set it for registration redirect also.
