I have an existing large member group established before installing userpro. For new users, they can choose whether or not to show their email address to the public. I need to hide it for the existing users, because they have not had any chance to opt in or out, is there a way to opt them out of showing it until they switch it to opt in?

A suggestion, make your forums searchable from your website. I was able to use google to search your forums in the end, and find a more detailed explanation that you gave someone, and in turn helped myself. You probably could cut down on your support tickets if the ability to search the forums was part of your website search, from your menu.
