Once they make one they show up in my user database and the directory but when you click their profile you get this error:

An error has occured
The user profile you are trying to reach does not exist. It could have been removed.

you can view this your self at this link: http://artistsnation.org/visual-arts-members/ and choose the profile that has a username “[email protected]

We are experiencing several issues and have submitted tickets since the beginning of January. We have yet to have our issue resolved. This is extremely concerning to us. Can we please get help?

I believe this is can’t be resolved in forum, because your replies are inconsistent and slow. I just want to help you at one go. Thanks! 😉 It might be because username is email and has @ try to change permalink structure to display name or ID. Or force a / slash at the end of profile URL for this specific issue.

Hopefully not many people will notice and my users profiles will be back to normal. As for the error issue, You are correct. I changed the permalink structure to username and this resolved the issue. We are now forcing use of the username field (just customized it to Artist Name).

Thank you for your help. Please mark this as resolved.

Using the User ID in the URL structure solve it for us.

You can’t have dash in username, in URL structure.

Not the user experience we like to see but it ended up not being to much of an issue. I could see this being a problem for people migrating to your plugin from another though, especially if whatever they used allowed dashes.

All good over here there, please mark resolved or close.
