GD library is installed and running properly on your server
PHP version 5.0 or better
You have write permissions to the cache folder as explained above
rename(), file_put_contents(), move_uploaded_file()
Check avatar on wordpress setting are activated and all is good, but the pictures dont upload never!
I try to desactivate all plugins and choose default theme and its the same, dont work never, if anyone can help me

Can you do a follow up on this problem guys??

On my side it says that it’s timthumb that failed. The image is uploaded (i see it in the wp-content folder) but the problem is when the timthumb adds the resizing url at the end of the image path.

Have you set the permission for 777 on these folders?

/userpro/lib/cache/
/userpro/lib/cache/timthumb_cacheLastCleanTime.touch
/userpro/lib/cache/index.html

If no, set 777 CHMOD for this and try uploading again the profile pic.

I managed to solve the problem. It was a timthumb issue because i had a tild and an ip address on my dev hosting.

I’m having a issue like that….but my profile pic upload normally. Sometimes it just disappear from my profile page and the image are not found on my server /wp-content/uploads/userpro ….
