permalink Profile links are broken – 404 error

I have read carefully your instructions on the docs,
turned off all plugins, changed the theme, and still have broken profile link.
the only way the profile link is ok, is with the default permalink, which is not good both for the site and seo.

need your help.

After struggling and searching the support, I have found the solution: to delete all pages, to define custom permalink and to re-create the pages at the setup page.

Q about translation – I have translated the plugin to Hebrew, but there are few strings that even they are translated, they still appear in English:

the number of members found – at the top of member list page
the title: “No available information” below the display name – any idea what to do?

H Tai, When you change the Permalinks and re-Install can you put the Permalinks back again? As I have the same problem, you can’t view Peoples Profiles from ‘Members Directory’ it says ‘Page Not Found etc.. But i have Videos that use a specific URL, I just wonder if changing my Permalinks in order to get User Pro to work will affect my previous links?

Hi Jeff,

Try to do as I wrote: delete all pages that comes from the “page setup”
than change the permalink to custom permalinks.
than re-built the pages via the setup pages in userpro.

from my experience, it won’t harm your custom urls.

You helped a lot… yeah I tried all of that, changed themes, fresh Install, Tried to change permalinks to custom but it reverts back to Posts setting and won’t save as ‘custom’ everything works fine except trying to view someones profile, the url is fine: something.com/profile/jeff but it says ‘not found’

I’m going to try the support people one more time to see if they can offer something constructive within their reply, if i get one.. otherwise i’ll get my money back through paypal, the support on here is very bad.
