+1 Would love to see some sort of payment addon for UserPro but then again there is a lot of things I would like to see added to UserPro. There is so much development potential with UserPro, just time that is the enemy!

Thanks for the release!

Here are some ideas for features of a professional or business directory :

1. Charge users that wants more visibility. Something like a recurring monthly or annual billing to be a featured user that appears on top of the list.

2. Charge users to view full profiles of other users.

3. Implement membership that syncs with roles, like : http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/plugins-on-github/pmpro-roles/ This way you could hide content or lock pages by role.

Recurring/subscription payments are a must. It is much easier for someone to commit to $2.50 per month than a one-off $25 ($10 pcm vs $99 etc.)

assign payment to a specific role type; Along with different payment options free trial, 1 month membership (reoccurring) and 1 year.

This is a great idea and it would take UserPro to the next level. You guys would make so much money if you were able to combine the Community features of UserPro with the features of a Membership plugin which enables you to sell Premium Content and restrict access to content by different user levels.

There are a lot of solutions out there that manage restricted content through different Membership levels [free, paid etc], but none of them have community features like UserPro. Community features are so important for engaging customers and building a user base. Right now I use a combination of UserPro and a Paid Subscription plugin to manage the Premium Content on my website.

This is the plugin I currently use to manage Premium Content, but it’s buggy and it doesnt really work very good:

Right now visitors to my website sign up for an account through UserPro and then they get redirected to that plugin where they have the option of becoming a Premium Member.

Premium Members pay a monthly recurring subscription fee through Paypal to gain access to the Premium Content on my website.

You can take a look at my website, to get a better understanding of how you could combine the features of the “Paid Content Packages” plugin with UserPro to make the ultimate Paid Restricted Content Plugin…

Like I said before, there is no solution that mixes the Community features of UserPro with a good Paid Subscription plugin. That’s the reason why I have to use 2 separate plugins right now.

Right now I don’t really see this plugin being very useful, but if you can build the additional features that would adapt UserPro into a restricted content plugin, this would be huge and I’m sure you guys would sell a lot.

My website is an established website with active users, a good amount of activity and a good number of premium members that pay me a monthly subscription. Let me know if you’d like me to be a BETA tester or help you guys with the development.

I really wish that UserPro could be a total solution for accepting monthly recurring payments in return for access to Premium Content!

I understand that the Payment add-on for UserPro is still only has basic functionality. With this in mind I would like to share with you the much needed features for this add-on before I can purchase UserPro and it’s add-ons.

1. Google Checkout is required and there needs to be custom fields so that we can add our own payment options as I would like to accept offline payments also, such as Check. Bank Transfer would also be nice to have.

2. Users can register without paying. There should be options for paying monthly, quarterly or yearly and they can “upgrade” at any time.

3. Allow us to be able to charge a fee for account verification.

4. Ability to let users access certain pages of website if they have paid for membership.

Just adding my voice to the need for Recurring Payments.
In fact, I just assumed that it handled them as that is what’s most commonly associated with “membership”.
