So, I am using UserPro to create membership to my site in the prettiest, quickiest and coolest way. That is by asking visitors to just enter their name and email. UserPro does everything else in the background, creating a WordPress account and emailing a password to the new members.
I love this and I much preface it to the ugly forms that S2Member offers (which as for a whole lot of details, including username and password). But I can do some really cool things with S2Member that I can’t do with UserPro.
S2member offers the possibility to have people sign up for free and place them in a higher membership level for a trial period. I would love to do this but can’t think of a way to do it, without using S2Member really ugly and difficult registration forms.
I know that I can use UserPro to have people signup up for free and be put automatically at at higher level, but I cannot offer a trial period, after which their account is downgraded to free user again.

I’ve squeezed my brain for days trying out every possibility and combination. I don’t seem to find a solution.

Anyone out there kind and amazing enough to give suggestions?

I basically need to to the following:
1- UserPro form to sign up, using only name and email
2- new user gets into Level 1 membership for a trial period (7 days) [S2Member can handle that]
3- after the trial period expires, user is downgraded to Subscriber.
