however after submitting registration, user is not sent to that URL.

The “postreg’ page ID is specified as available to non-logged in users.

The same thing happens regardless of whether the Registration settings in UserPro are set to “Redirect to FrontEnd Profile” or “refresh the page.

It will work in the login page only as where the shortcode is written it will not work in the page where login is asked .
