I purchased this plugin to add a membership area to my site. I am not sure if it will do what I need it to do. I will outline this as best as I can, and hope that somebody might be able to say whether it is possible with this plugin.

Each member will specify the county they are in at either the edit or registration page.

Depending on their county their profile page will have a sidebar with other members from the same county.

As far as I can see, there is only the one profile template, and no way of doing this. Am I missing something? Can I create more than one profile template? Or can I achieve what I want via shortcodes?

I hope that is clear enough – if not please ask me questions 🙂

Usually the profile templates are all stored in /templates folder, simply add conditional check to any template you want and that would help you create simple html templates to show profiles. see templates/view.php for example.
