1) Redirection during registration (when you click on the link in the confirmation email) doesn’t work properly on iPad. When new user who registered using iPad clicks the link in the confirmation email, he’s redirected to the home page but not profile and nothing happens. However, despite that fact user is still able to login with his password and login via login box.
2) I tried logging in via Facebook, Twitter and Google+. I used different accounts for every social network, thus I registered 3 different profiles. The strange thing is, that when I registered with Facebook and Twitter I was instantly redirected to profile page of a newly created user. I didn’t receive any welcoming or confirmation email. But when I used Google Plus, I was redirected to the profile and also received an email:

Hi there,

Thanks for registering. Your account is now active.

To login please visit the following URL:
http://inspire.am/profile/login/
Your email:
Your password:
etc.

So, for some reasons users of Facebook and Twitter don’t receive any welcoming emails.

3) Moreover, when I go to user section in WP admin area I don’t see email addresses of users who signed up via Twitter. See attached screenshot. Consequently I can’t send them any emails for verification of their profiles.

4) The plugin doesn’t display the profile picture from Facebook if someone uses Facebook for logging in while Google Plus and Twitter users have their pictures. You can see this on screenshot as well.

5) The plugin is not working with Disqus commenting system. What I want is when the user is logged in he would post comments in Disqus but it seems like Disqus doesn’t understand that user is logged in via Userpro and asks to login again.

So, when I choose to Sign In via my website (InspireAM) it redirects me to Login Page. See screenshot 2:

Alternatively, if the user is already signed in it simply redirects to profile page. See screenshot 3:

And nothing happens, so the user has to sign up for disqus account in order to post comments.
Moreover, the comments posted via disqus are not displayed in the activity stream.

Is there any way to make the plugin work with Disqus? Because Discqus is probably the best commenting system created for wordpress and it is used by millions of websites and it is free.

Hi Just a little remark about Disques, this plugin is not updated for a while as it’s Compatible up to: 3.5.2, Last Updated: 2013-1-4 : http://wordpress.org/plugins/disqus-comment-system/

You can try to connect via Facebook here or see this http://userproplugin.com/userpro/members/ I am guessing it’s a conflict at your end. All Fb connected users have their profile pictures.

As for the Facebook thing, I have probably misconfigured my Facebook app.

And as for the Disqus, my guess is that the problem is that Disqus stores all the comments on their side (that means that comments made through Disqus are not native wordpress comments (others plugins, like, for example Commentator, work just fine with Userpro, because they use native commenting system of WordPress).

However, Disqus has an API, if you might want to consider addidng support for Disqus in the future, here is a link to their API: http://disqus.com/api/docs/
