Is there a way users can get notified when someone mentions them in a Twitter/Facebook style? I mean something like @nameoftheuser

For example: if i comment something like ‘Hey @Tom76, have you tried this?’ it’d be great that the user Tom76 gets a notification so he knows he’s been mentioned.

Is it possible?
