I have found issue while searching in the Member Directory.

URL: http://www.fuzionproductions.com/members-10-2-2/?searchuser=s

Above url, I search for “s” in the member directory search bar on the member directory page. The output is only my id, of the admin. There are more users registered with “s”.

Snapshots: Member search page - main
Snapshots: Found 1 profile (mine)

Please note, the members were existing via WordPress site registration. I had saved my profile again, which caused it to appear in the search results. I had seen another post where someone performed a DBA action. I am not sure if it will apply here, hence created a separate topic.

Please do note, I require the purchase verification from UserPro backend support since, cURL is not enabled on my site which is unable to get my purchase verified.

Please note, the purchase code is part of my profile, but it will pasted in my next reply.

My next reply will contain the URL, access details etc.

Update: I rebuilt the pages, and yet no result.

You need to delete all pages of userpro even from trash, then reset slugs to default and then rebuild pages.

When doing so,I still received numeric slugs.

I will try again with this install. Any other suggestions or settings changes I should do?

– Remove userpro pages from pages + TRASH (important)

– Go to page setup

– Reset slugs to /profile /members/ etc instead of numeric and click SAVE CHANGES

now when you’re sure there’s onl members in slug without numbers, click on rebuild pages and it should create domain.com/members/ page

Update: i cleared the slug portion as empty and rebuilt the pages. it created two instances for the page setup (my profile, members, etc) but at least its kept to the minimal. I have used the first instance as part of the menu.

However with this, in mind would it impact any custom fields that have been added to the user profile? I have added them and I can view them however a guest cannot view all the fields. I have only entry restricted those.

However the main issue for searching users remains. I can’t search old wordpress members that were created. Only new profiles on the UserPro show up. Can I get details on how to fix this?

I had to perform the user online sync and it worked!

I think I will need to just explore more to find out….things related to this plugin. In the future, could it be possible that we pull in tweets or facebook posts from people’s account into their profile? It would be something surely that would help make for profiles.

Thanks!
