I UNDERSTAND that you have pending projects and need some features or options documented asap, what I ask from you is to reply to this thread and tell me what shortcode or options you want to be documented in PRIORITY so I can do them first until we have a complete docs. These are HTML files so once they are complete I will attach them with main plugin as well instead of online version.

P.S. If the official docs take too much time for you to finish, would you consider simple text version for developers that we just can shorty look into. No necessary explanations inside, just shortcodes options list?

Do you want to start with shortcode options?

I am interested mostly at the moment about all shortcode options available for:

1. template=memberlist
2. template=emd

Shortcode options which are telling us how to control (if possible):
– fields visibility,
– hide/show search,
– show search fields from custom UserPro fields,
– show only specific user roles,
– show only users having a specific custom field value,
– show only user verified by UserPro verification (the blue verified circle icon).

If I come around something else, I will write it down.

Need php shortcodes to add user profile information to our own template pages, I dislike the need for extra pages and URL’s being created to display stuff.

Need to know how to disable the login/registration with the plugin (because it won’t let me login with my own login form).

The plugin is really great, but at the moment I feel like we can’t get the best out of it or integrate it properly with our sites.

We also need hooks to incorporate things into our themes, for example getting the user avatar on posts etc.

Front end posting shortcodes (and ideas how to implement this) (I want certain roles to have the ability to publish to my site, I want the posting shortcode to appear on only their profile page but not be viewable to anyone else, I want to control what they can post and where it posts to)

You have many people like myself that are aesthetic designers not coders, I have some code guys but I like to do the little things myself. I suggest you include a shortcode example that has EVERY option in it, for those that want to simply copy/paste the shortcode and edit the options they choose. Then have a list of what the edits can be, like “changing 0 to 1 for this option does…”

I know that probably sounds silly to you but people like myself struggle with making shortcodes work. I can edit code very easily but creating it is harder (I’m learning though).

If you want to display user profile information to your own templates, you can do that easily! Actually you can show any bit of info about any user you want, anywhere. I’ll document this part asap in the docs site for you.. and always eager for feedback
