Installation

1) Unzip archive / Archiv entpacken

EN: Extract the downloaded rar-file. You will find 3 files
DE: Entpacke das eben heruntergeladene Archiv. Dort finden Sie 3 Dateien.

  • userpro-de_DE.mo
  • userpro-de_DE.mo
  • Support & Bugs link

EN: The first two files are the language files. The third file is for reporting bugs or get help.
DE: Die ersten beiden Dateien sind die Sprachdateien. Die dritte dient zum Melden von Bugs oder unverständlichen Übersetzungen.

2) Upload the files / Dateien hochladen

EN: Connect to your webserver wit a FTP client and upload the files under
DE: Verbinde dich mit deinem Webserver via FTP und lade die Dateien in folgendes Verzeichnis

/wp-content/plugins/userpro/language/…

You have to overwrite the existing files! / Sie müssen die bestehenden Dateien überschreiben

3) Refresh page using F5 (for example) / Webseite aktualisieren

Note / Beachte
EN: The translation files is fully tranlated but a few terms are missing.
DE: Beachte, dass die Übersetzung zu 100% abgeschlossen ist, aber in der Datei noch einige Terms fehlen. Dies liegt am Plugin Autor diese zu ergänzen.

Do you use some cache plugins? Try to purge your cache in your backend and in your browsers. I also use the german translation files on my side and it works. But its a known issue that the translation file isn’t 100% translatable. There are a lot of terms missing in the .po-file.

Note: You have to translate the fields separately in the backend. They are not covered by the translation files.

I tried to delete the cache and reinstalled the plugin but unfortunately it didn’t solve the issue. Currently i am not using some cache plugins. I tried several options but it seems like the language files are not active because no terms have been translated.

Where can I translate the field manually in the backend? I couldn’t find any field i can change in the plugin.
