In theory:

I would go into Users and use the dropdown “Role” to change their Role.

We would set up a Role that hides all content for that particular User.

then… the moment we save the User to their new Hidden Role we created all of their content would not be visible to an end user on the site. (no search results, profile page, not visible in any lists, nothing)

When we want, we change their role back and now their content is visible to viewers on the site.

Possible?
