I just saw your last Documentation Update for the “Frontend Publisher” and tried the “deny-roles” Option. In the description you say that this option “disable specific roles from posting from frontend publisher”. I tested it for the “Subscriber”-Role and it worked fine. I couldn´t get access to the Frontend Publisher. But now any Subscriber can´t see the “Posts by Users”. I just want to make sure that a Subscriber can´t publish his own stuff but he should be able to see the stuff.
