I have created a very simple plugin that copies a selection of Badges to UserPro. It’s in a very early development stage, but does what needs to be done.
- Make sure to have UserPro installed and activated before installing the UserPro Custom Badges Plugin
- Install the Plugin and activate it
- Go to Settings -> UP Custom Badges
- Copy Badges, or Delete Badges to install the custom badge set. The Delete Badges function only deletes the Custom Badges. The stock badges won’t be deleted. The functionality of the Buttons is very limited. You basically press them and nothing happens. But it will copy the badges in the Background. Not sure, why the AJAX confirmation doesn’t work. If someone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
- Go to the User Pro Badges Setting and see the badges
Please Note: This is my first plugin. Please use at your own risk and let me know if you find some bugs!5 years, 12 months ago jeditricks007Participant

Thank you very much! It works nice, unless there is no confirmation about the install progress as you mentioned. But it does the job 🙂5 years, 12 months ago adminKeymaster
Can you please try to remove extra blank spaces or linebreaks from that file and try again?5 years, 12 months ago Ray de GraafParticipant
if i activate i see this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in wp-content/plugins/upCustomBadges/upCustomBadges.php on line 88
kind regards!5 years, 12 months ago Ray de GraafParticipant
you mean in the upCustomBadges.php file?5 years, 11 months ago kloskParticipant
Sorry guys. I thought I get some E-Mail notification. Only now saw that someone is really using this addon. Thanks! I have fixed the error and moved the code to GitHub. Please let me now if the plugin now works properly for you all!
Download is here:
The error was with some lousy syntax on my side 🙂 I opened a php tag with only <? instead of <?php – This causes problems with some PHP configurations. Sorry for that!

Everything worked for us! Thank you so much! You have no idea how awesome this is. How can we continue to add badges to this as a community?5 years, 11 months ago kloskParticipant
Good news everyone! I spent the day creating my first GitHub Project, fixing Bugs and making it “at least a little bit” awesome. (It now come with AutoUpdate functionality, whaaat?!?)
Please download version 1.0 here: https://github.com/kLOsk/upCustomBadges (You might have to click on releases, or simply click the download as zip button on the right).
The plugin should now work fully. It has an autoupdate mechanism included that triggers the WP update function, once I upload a new version here on GitHub. Neat, eh? I also fixed the button feedback. They now tell you that everything went well! I will hunt for more badges and add them to the plugin. Enjoy!
@headfunder: I’m planning on including more badges. They should be Creative Commons Licensed tho and I want to make sure that you don’t get spammed with too many badges, so I will try to implement some selection function that allows you to preview what you are about to install!5 years, 11 months ago jeditricks007Participant
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare my_plugin_menu() (previously declared in wp-content/plugins/upCustomBadges/upCustomBadges.php:32) in wp-content/plugins/upCustomBadges-master/upCustomBadges.php on line 33
I tried to install the update and it was a fatal error.
