Encoding parameters passed in the query string? – UserPro Forums https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/encoding-parameters-passed-in-the-query-string/feed/ Sun, 19 May 2024 21:45:06 +0000 https://bbpress.org/?v=2.6.2 en-US https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/encoding-parameters-passed-in-the-query-string/#post-31165 <![CDATA[Encoding parameters passed in the query string?]]> https://forum.userproplugin.com/forums/topic/encoding-parameters-passed-in-the-query-string/#post-31165 Mon, 07 Apr 2014 12:52:11 +0000 primitive Hi,

I really like the plugin, but ran into a bit of a problem with it not encoding the parameters passed in the query string properly.

For example, if you are redirecting logins to the front-end, when someone wants to comment on a post and clicks login they are sent to a URL that looks like this:
http://example.com/profile/login/?redirect_to=http://example.com/post-title/

When they should really be something like this:
http://example.com/profile/login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fpost-title%2F

To fix this we made a change to userpro/functions/hooks-actions.php on line 158 – but do we need to make changes elsewhere to?

Thanks
