1. How can I change the default values for fields?
For example for description: “The user didnt enter a description yet”.

2. How can I limit the bottom line of the members directory (description) to “X” chars? Some users will write a lot of information there and it will break formatting (Especially if its HTML).

3. How can I change the bio field in the members directory to another custom field?

If I am understanding your request, you can go to the UserPro > Customize Fields > Edit Profile Fields and delete the Bio field. Then go to the right and create another field of the type you prefer, and place it where the Bio field was. Is that what you were asking?

If you are just wanting to stop the member from using HTML, there is the icon that looks like a page with blue <> on it. If it isn’t grayed out looking, then it is allowing HTML. If you click on it and it goes like it’s grayed out, then it no longer allows HTML. Maybe that is what you are wanting?

That way, what the member enters will just be text.

I don’t know if it is possible to limit the amount of characters. That would be Support who would have to answer that.

1. No option to change bottom field via shortcode.

2. No option to insert default value to fields.

3. no option to limit the length of the field in members directory.
