Will UserPro work with plugins that add the ability to create and manage user roles?

I’m going to start checking some of them out, but I thought I would ask in case there was a specific one others are using with success.

UPDATE:

STAY AWAY from the “User Role Editor” plugin, installing it caused so my trouble I had to do a complete install of WordPress and UserPro.

I would like to get a confirmation if there is any other role editor plugin that will work with UserPro

I was going to recommend the User Role Editor Plugin, that’s what I’m using now and seems to work great. Sorry it gave you issues.

That’s encouraging at least, I guess it could have been a combination of others but it was a brand new installation of WordPress with only 4 other plugins, responsive lightbox, wp-PageNavi, Regenerate Thumbnails, and Contact Form 7

I’m using the hueman theme found in the WP theme repository

I’ve never had a situation like that where I couldn’t recover from a conflict. All I know is it was working prior, and it wasn’t after, and I couldn’t get it back to working.

Problem is not with responsive lightbox.
The only problem I am facing with lightbox is that it does not work with photos uploaded by users.

I had the same issue with the WP User Role Editor. For a couple of days I was struggling with it and then I was able to confirm that it was causin conflict with UserPro.

Does anyone know which plugin I’m able to use to create User Roles without creating conflict?

And if some had already answered this…maybe I misunderstood the above answer and so I apologize in advance 🙂

I have used groups from woocommerce to create user roles, and they do show up under the wordpress users. But they do not show up below Role-based-fields.

If you are referring to the plugin called “Groups” which you can find here:

Groups

Groups and roles are different concepts, indicating a role instead of a group doesn’t really make sense within the framework that Groups provides 🙂

But indeed it would be nice if the custom groups created by Groups would show up within the Role-based-fields. 😉
