I’ve set up the the Custom Fields in WP and made a page with the following shortcode:
[userpro template=publish post_type=modelprojects post_meta="model-brands,model-time" post_meta_labels="Brand(s) used,Time spent"]
This displays the correct fields in the frontend publisher (and also in the original WP dashboard editor), but when I fill them out on the frontend and submit the post it is not registered in the actual post (blank fields in the WP Dashboard edit screen). What am I doing wrong?
It should update the post meta eys model-brands and model-time please ensure you have these two custom fields already in place.
yes, it’s all in place, when I do it through the WP dashboard it works fine, but when I post from the frontend form it doesn’t
Try a custom meta without – but with underscore? e.g. post_meta=”custom_ur” post_meta_labels=”Custom URL” try this as example, and let me know. I just tested it and it worked.
still can’t get it to work unfortunately. The fields are there on the frontend publisher, but it’s no use filling them out because it just doesn’t get registered on the final post
[userpro template=publish post_type=modelprojects post_meta=model_brands,model_time post_meta_labels=Brand(s) used,Time spent]
