I’ve just noticed that when registering a new user, I can enter two completely different passwords in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” fields and UserPro accepts that. Am I missing something here or isn’t the Confirm Password meant to confirm the original password??

Wordpress 4.1, UserPro 2.20

Thanks!

Russell

You can check this on UserPro demo site. Try to register with different password.

On your site – Are you not getting such message ? can you please share your website URL via – http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact so that I can check the issue ?

This appears to only apply to a NEW user registration, not an existing user changing their password. Thank you for your help, I will send my website details through codecanyon.

I have the same problem exactly.
Password confirmation is not working correctly.
It doesn’t show any message even if two passwords are not matching.

Can you check this for me?

Thanks.

Just wondering if there had been any update with a resolution to this issue? I just tested the problem again and I am able to create a new user account using two completely different passwords in the “Password” and “Confirm Password” fields. Running WordPress 4.1 and UserPro 2.21

Cheers,

Rusty

This issue has been resolved thanks to support from Manju. The trick was to set the “Password” field as mandatory, but make the “Confirm Password” non-mandatory (i.e. don’t tick the red cog). That solved it for me. I think it’s a bit odd but it’s working now. Thanks again for your help.
