This is a custom css question. peem answer is right; you may need to add the !important rule to force the change.
Yes I think so try adding a comma then div.userpro-centered, so the css would look like this:
div.userpro-head, div.userpro-centered {
border-radius: 5px 5px 0 0;
background: #f5f5f5 url(img/pattern.png) repeat;
border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;
