Hi Ahmed,
I seem to have a little issue: On the profile page, sometimes when I go click on a profile, the profile image blows up (the image gets LARGE) then the image comes back down to size when the load is complete (about 1 second). I have been trying to solve the issue for a while but I can’t figure it out because I couldn’t take a picture of it.But I finally got a picture of it when (this is part two of the bug) I tested the profile by adding a lot of followers, the picture blew up, but never went back down. This is a screenshot. and
I thought it was just me, but, when I go to your followers page here for supportAhmed, your profile picture blows up for a quick second, then goes back down.
1. Do you have pagination for followers or a button that says, “click here to load more”?
2. How do I get rid of the pixelated effect (big issue)?It seems to have something to do with loading. When there is a lot going on on a single page, the pixelation takes longer. When you have a lot more stuff going on, like 600+ followers, the image freezes as it is and the page never loads all of the followers.
Incase the picture didn’t show up, here is the link. http://tinypic.com/r/ifcvoi/8
http://tinypic.com/r/2uosxo5/8On the follower page, I also get an error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2589351 bytes) in… after it loads a couple hundred followers.I will implement pagination in followers to offset this issue.
ruddyred the pixeletad profile picture is just during loading the page or after the page has loaded too?
The pixelation occurs during loading.
But when the server doesn’t load all the way (like when you have a lot of followers), the pixelation stays forever.When you have an error on the page right? That’s ok. Normally the page loads and the profile picture is not pixeleted. Do you have a live url I can test the profile pixelation on? I can’t produce it here, do you see it happening also on these demo profiles?
1. When the page has an error, the pixelation does not go back to normal.
2. Normally the picture pixelates when the page is loading, usually when there is a lot of stuff on the page. Then the page goes back to normal after everything on the page loads. It doesn’t happen every single time, but it happens enough times to notice. Try going to your follower page, see if you see what i am talking about. http://userproplugin.com/userpro/followers/Support-Ahmed/
Ahmed, I just noticed that a new version 1.0.84 is up on codecanyon,is this the version you were implementing the change on this topic or were you talking about the upcominging 1.0.85?
This version was ready/implemented already 🙂 Therefore I have this planned in v1.0.85 see my todo for next version
– no. of posts, no. of comments
– responsive emd
– lock upload fields fix
– pixeletated image issue
– make category field required in frontend publisher
– removing values from multiselect will leave one value
cool. Would the pagination of followers be implemented as well, or will that be scheduled for the next update?
I download the new Version 1.0.85 (08 Apr 2014)
I see that (EMD) Now Supports Filtering by Custom Fields / Meta keys !
Is there any shortcode for that ?Thanks in advance
The pixelated issue is now fixed.
test: it’s same principle of normal member directory.
gender=”Male”
country=”USA” etc…
or role=”subscriber”
role=”author”
etc.. 🙂
I am wondering if the guest was able to search with custom fileds ?
For instance [userpro template=emd emd_filters=”1″ emd_field=”field,dropdown”]Thanks again
