Hi there …

This is my third attend to integrate userpro and bbpress into my site.And I really love the demo forum here on your site. But i am really frustrated by trying to implement it on my own site. There are so many questions i would have to ask,before getting it running.

BBpress and userpro are installed already. I did a few first aid steps, and tried to integrate the profile fields and urls into the integrated bbpress files of the theme. The newspaper theme has got some files in its theme folder for bbpress. But i simply do not know how to integrate the styles and functions you are using here.

I even get lost when trying to implement a correct url structure for the forums and userpro.

The complicated part is, that i would have to do the style and function adjustments within the theme deliverd files. and i am not a coder … so i am really helpless at this part. The theme integrates the startpage of bbpress through the site “community”.

my first problem is, that the permalink structure for this should be -> homepage/community/singleforum. But htis does not work right now … and i dont know why …

second would be to have the forum look a bit like yours. the integration of userpro would be great here. including profile pics and profile links.

No, sadly not. I have tried very hard. But i am at the endpoint of my knowledge. So i am waiting for a reaction of the plugin founder.

I have deinstalled the plugin now. By the way – for the third time. It was the third time, i wanted to give the plugin a chance. I am sick of begging for help. 🙁

And no – It’s not an option for me to change the theme, again. It was my third try – with the third theme.
But i have found the perfect theme for my magazine now. And i don’t want to mess with any code of the theme, just to get a plugin running on it.

I will need to find another solution fpr my site.

And i Know, that it’s not just a problen of the plugin, or the author or the support here. The idea of the plugin is brilliant. But it’s just too complex to include it for some simple tasks …

Hi,

If you want to integrate bbpress forum with Newspaper you should change the files in bbpress plugin folder, and deleted bbpress polder form theme/Newspaper/bbpress.

It works on my website.

When i do that i loose all the custom styling from Newspaper Theme, but will give it a new try
