It has ‘select categories” which is brilliant, but if a user keeps scrolling it continues to “select tags” i’d like to remove the “select tags bit so they only have the option to select categories.

Here is what I have done this creates a post box with title,content,featured image and catagory, the required feature (picture) is optional with this code. The author link is NOT working. I haven’t been able to figure out how to link author.
