3. suddenly the terms info as well as the social logins were gone, I haven’t uninstalled or resetted anything though.
— solved by entering the login deails (api keys ect) again. Will wait and see if the settings will disappear again or not.
The settings can disappear only if you reset options or reinstall userpro
Hi there,
it’s getting really annoying. I am not getting any help and I am simply unable to fix this by myself.
1. user and verified badges on the profile pages are way too small
The Badges (i.e. online status, E-Mail and Country/Flag and Verified Icon) are WAY TOO SMALL. I can barely see them. In the sidebar however their size is right.2. users can register without me checking or validating their registrations even though this has been selected. This is very bad, as I have to remove tons of fake users manually (and there are lots of them). I have just deleted about 60+ fake accounts manually – even tough the plugin is set to “require approval by admin”. This feature doesn’t seem to work.
PLEASE help me!
Sounds like you have either a theme or plugin conflict, as I just selected the require approval by admin option and it works perfectly. I tried logging in after registering and before admin approval and I got the following message: “Your account is currently being reviewed. Thanks for your patience.”
The badges are also the same size on my site as they are on the demo site, so I dont think there is a problem with those either.
Ahmed will tell you to try changing the theme and disabling all other plugins to see if you still have the issue, as this will allow you to identify what is causing the conflict.
Hi peem,
I have already tried to deactivate all the other plugins, without any success though. This leaves my theme, i’ll try to change this now, maybe this helps.
Alex
The badges are fine when I switch the theme 🙁 It’s a job for our designer then. I guess the admin aproval thing will also be related to the theme then.
Thanks for the hint 🙂
Alex
No problem. In the future if you think you come across a bug/issue, see if you can replicate it on the userpro demo and if you can’t, it probably means you have a plugin/theme conflict which involves deactivating plugin/theme to see what is causing the issue.
If you need to switch your theme, I would suggest looking at the most popular premium themes on themeforest. They are usually well coded which results in very few plugin conflicts and they are also well supported in case any bugs are found!
Our theme is from TF, but obiously it wasn’t a good choice. Will get our designer to check it now, but I guess we’ll have to change the theme..
I tend to only buy themes which are on the popular list, as theme developers are much more likely to continue actively developing a theme and providing support long term if the theme makes lots of money. Im a big fan of the salient and total themes and there is a new theme called bridge which looks fantastic but I have not purchased it yet. The theme used for this demo site is the7 so you can be confident that theme will work great with userpro!
Makes sense, but due to the nature of our project not possible. Our theme needed rating capabilities, most of the themes do not offer these features. Now we could try to find a good plugin for that.. ^^ but that’s we have done in the past, without much success.
Yeah it’s pretty difficult to find the perfect/theme plugin. There is usually something that I need that is missing. That is why I love this plugin so much, whilst it doesn’t do everything I need for my site at the moment, I am pretty confident that eventually it will as the plugin gets further developed in the future.
Just had a quick look at the popular page and these three themes seem to have some sort of rating system. Not sure if they would meet your needs but maybe worth a look:

Alex, I am pretty sure you can hack the theme’s css to fix the badges issue. Right?
That in case you insist about using the theme that has a css conflict with UserPro.
Hi,
I am going to get another theme, as it turned out that it is actually causing the problems with the plugin. If I start changing stuff, it’s gonna get messy when the developer of the theme releases an update.. I have started to look for a new theme already ;D
