I have problem: Error “404 page” on all profile pages ( for example http://www.profitf.com/profile/maks/ ) I saw your FAQ, and don’t want disable any other plusgin. ALL plugins in my wordpress need for me. What can I do now?
what setting in userpro do you have for the Profil Permalink Struktur? try to change this and don’t forget to update the permalinks after changes…
How can we re-name the profile page when the actual profile doesn’t exist? we ca go to ‘members directory’ then we can see the list of members, but when you click view profile it says ‘not found’ – try searching etc.. I’ve had this problem for over a week now, so do many people on here.. there’s no real support coming from anyone regarding this issue.
I’ve done a permalink flush, changed my theme, re-installed the plug in.. all permalinks are fine.. but when a user signs up the actual profile doesn’t exist.
something.com/profile/myname just doesn’t exist as a page.
We’ve all p[aid our money so please at least address this issue properly and let us enjoy what we have purchased rather than weeks of an headache and possibly refunding us via paypal for a product that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do and nobody actually doing anything constructive to support us.
Thank you,
Jeff
I have userpro installed for a half year. And I can’t confirm this issue.. On my page it’s just working fine.
You can try to change the userpro permalink structure in userpro setting to user id (then update your worspress permalink)
Userpro does not create a separated page for every user. There is one profile page where the content from every user is dinamicly loadet.
I think when this would be an userpro issue, there would be more complains in fact Ahmed sold userpro over 3000 times.
Hi Adi,
Yes I tried that, but the User ID did open a profile for all my users, it was my profile, for user 1 through to 8.
So that’s no good either.
I’m sure there has been many sales as you said etc.
But there are a lot of people asking the same question in the Forum and there’s is hardly any support replies.
No probs, I guess It’s just not going to work.
Many Thanks anyway,
jeff
“…what setting in userpro do you have for the Profil Permalink Struktur? try to change this and don’t forget to update the permalinks after changes……”
I changed to USER ID, and now see MY PROFILE page on profiles of all members. For example go to http://www.profitf.com/profile/195/ and see “MY PROFILE” ADMIN page ;(((
Thanks mate, yeah I use ‘Posts’ settings as i want user names. or name and not an ID Number. the ID Number isn’t how the plug in is supposed to work.. it’s a workaround etc..
yeah i saw your site, good site, looks great..
But I’ll continue to find a way to get the actual name of user in URL as it’s supposed to be.
many Thanks for your help,
Bless, Jeff
For me still not working too. http://www.profitf.com/profile/195/ it’s not my page.
When I go http://www.profitf.com/profile/194/, ….profile/193/, profile/192/ etc – -I already reffered to MY PROFILE. not to profile of memberAdmin, did you resolve problem with ““404 page” on all profile pages” ? …. I reported about this problem 2 month ago
@237laser,
Can you please follow these steps –
1. In Userpro -> Settings -> General -> Profile Permalink Structure – choose desired structure
2. Go to Settings -> Permalinks (WordPress permalinks) and Save permalinks.
3. In Userpro -> Setup Pages – Rebuild userpro pages. If this does not solve the problem, please raise the issue using the contact form on my profile page, this would help me to track the issue to closure. Link to contact page is – http://codecanyon.net/user/DeluxeThemes#contact
Thanks.
